Dept of Urology. This was a demo of herbal poultices used to tonify/nourish the kidneys by placing the hospitals patent poultice formula over Spleen 6 pt and the Kidney Back Shu pt. A heat lamp was applied and could stay for 20 mins. The compress themselves can stay on or an hour. (The purple marks on my back are from a cupping treatment two days ago and have nothing to do with this treatment. They are not painful.)
